Alright, listen up! You're all a part of this Guild, but now it's time to get serious. We've been hired to do the dirty work those fancy-pants mages are too good for, so you need to be ready. I ain't sayin' you gotta be on the front lines fightin' some bucket-head knight, but this is war and it don't play fair. Then again... neither do we.
If you thought you were getting some sleep tonight, think again. You're all gonna head out to the graveyard for some combat training. Each of you will be paired up with another one of your Guild mates and allowed two pokemon to battle with. Aim a the game is to knock out the other team, or the other trainer, I don't much care which. Just don't kill one another, would ya? I don't need to be goin' through the hassle of another initiation. Damian will be keepin' an eye on you all to make sure it doesn't get out of hand.
Now then, there are a couple rules to this match. You're only allowed to fight in the graveyard. Unlike you lot, I'll be back in the Guild sleepin' and would like that sleep to remain undisturbed. There's also no switching pokemon during this fight; you pick two and stick with em. Oh and for the duration of this battle... you'll all be blindfolded. Gwahahaha. More fun that way, don't you think?
Those rules I just mentioned? They can be broken. We're thieves, and I don't expect you lot to play by the rules. JUST DON'T GET CAUGHT DOIN' IT. Your opponent catches you cheating, and you lose. It's okay to cheat, but you're useless if you get caught.

Round Objective:Double battle. Each trainer gets two pokemon.
Trainers will be blindfolded for the duration of the match.
You win when either your opponent's pokemon are knocked out/incapacitated, your opponent is knocked out/incapacitated or you catch your opponent cheating. Any one of those will earn you a victory this Round.
The only rules are:
Blindfolds must be worn at all times (Trainers only, your pokemon will still be able to see).
No switching pokemon.
No leaving the graveyard (Area of battle is marked on the map below).
These rules can all be broken because Flea doesn't care if you cheat.
You aren't required to cheat, but you're allowed to. However, if your opponent catches you cheating, then you will lose.
Damian will be moderating this Round, but you aren't required to include him in your comics.
All Round 1 events take place

So yes, they had to enter the audition round and pass auditions to get to round 1, and no, we are not accept any more auditions for the main competition but you can create an NPC character who will not affect he main story but will have events they can participate in.
Please before you think of asking anymore questions though, the mods stress that you read all the information given out to you in the journals and gallery because more than likely it has been answered already and we are currently busy working and would rather not have to answer the questions that have already been answered prior.
...but im still actually kinda wondering.
